Co-founded by Directors Buffy Parker and Henny Smith, Parker Fine Art Auctions launched in July 2020.

Occupying a glorious light space of nearly 6,000 square feet in the centre of Farnham, we hold monthly auctions of Oil Paintings, Prints, Engravings, Drawings, Photographs, Posters, Watercolours and Frames.

As the only auction house in England dedicated to selling Fine Art, we also have a unique offer to vendors: to consign is just £10 (plus VAT) per lot, which includes all commission, illustration & insurance.

Our auctions – featuring everything from 15th century engravings to contemporary installations – are held live and online, with convenient viewing times and dates in the days leading up to the sale.

Who we are

Buffy Parker

Buffy has worked in Fine Art since starting out as a Porter at Bonhams in 1973 being trained by Alex Meddowes. Having led his own Art Dealership in Hampshire for thirty years, buying and selling between 2000 and 3000 paintings a year, Buffy’s particular area of expertise is in Old Master Paintings. He has discovered paintings by Frans Hals, Annibale Carracci, Giovanni Battista Tiepolo amongst others, but his most notable achievement was spotting a Sebastiano del Piombo, which eventually sold to the Getty Museum in California.

He then returned to the Auction world as the Head of Picture department at John Nicholson’s in 2012 before establishing Parker Fine Art Auctions in 2020.
